| Aging has become a common problem all over the world.As a country with the largest population in the world,China’s elderly population also ranks first,and the degree of aging is still deepening.Facing the aging,on the one hand,people show their concern that the aging will drag down the economic development,on the other hand,they are actively exploring the opportunities brought by the aging to the economic development.The concept of silver economy has also been recognized by more and more people,and has become an important direction of economic development.China’s tourism market started late,and the tourism demand of the elderly as the main body is also underestimated by the industry.Mainly reflected in the lack of tourism products for the elderly,the relevant laws and policies are not perfect.The long-term accumulation of problems has led to the misunderstanding of the elderly tourism industry,such as high risk,low profit and poor market reputation,which further inhibits the enthusiasm of the elderly tourism industry development.It helps to improve the efficiency and make the problem more difficult to improve.In this context,through indepth analysis of the elderly tourism,combined with empirical research,this paper analyzes the impact of the aging population on the industry,determines the rationality and feasibility of the development of tourism for the elderly,and puts forward some development suggestions to prevent the blind development of the industry leading to waste of resources.This paper explains the urgency and feasibility of the development of tourism for the elderly through the analysis of the causes;through literature collection and interviews to investigate the market characteristics,the advantages and disadvantages of the development of tourism for the elderly at this stage are analyzed;through the analysis of the characteristics of both supply and demand,the main contradictions existing in the development of elderly tourism are clarified,and this is the research focus.Then,combined with the above empirical analysis and research,combined with interviews with tourism practitioners,and absorb the advanced development experience of foreign countries,finally put forward suggestions for the development of China’s elderly tourism industry.In the empirical analysis,the principal component regression method is used to analyze the influence of aging on the development of tourism for the elderly.It is found that the aging of population will affect the development of industry to a large extent.The industry should grasp this positive role and vigorously promote the development of tourism for the elderly.According to the results and conclusions of empirical analysis,some suggestions are put forward,mainly including suggestions on the elderly tourism products;suggestions on improving the legal system;suggestions on the government’s positive role in industrial development;suggestions on timely adjusting product prices;suggestions on maintaining a certain level of social savings;suggestions on controlling house prices and realizing the transformation of economic structure. |
