| In the past decade,the elderly population has grown faster and faster in the world and the proportion of the elderly in the population has been growing.With such a shift,exploring how to successfully adapt to low levels of disability,high cognitive and physical functioning,and high activity levels are key to ensuring the highest quality of life for the elderly.Since the Second United Nations World Age Convention officially put forward "Active Aging" in 2002 as a "policy framework" for aging the population in the 21 st century,"independence,participation,care,self-fulfillment and dignity" have gradually become recognized as the world’s oldest Basic principles of work.Among them,the participation of the elderly in "the potential of the elderly is a strong foundation for future development" has been elevated to the height of "the basic rights of the elderly" and "the fulfilling life the elderly should enjoy" At the two levels of theory and practice are widely concerned.Based on the perspective of active aging,this paper starts with the study of social participation of retired cadres retired from military in Jiaxing City.Through questionnaire survey,we investigate the social participation of military retired cadres and the current situation of selfefficacy,focusing on analyzing the social participation and self-efficacy of military retired cadres.So as to find out an effective way to influence the elderly’s self-efficacy and improve the quality of life of the elderly.Adopt the general demographic variable questionnaire,questionnaire of social engagement survey,the general self-efficacy scale(GSES),choose jiaxing(including five counties and 2)the army retires the 239 retired cadres to sandringham retreat retire retired army cadres as the research object.We trying to solve the following problems:(1)how the military cadres’ social participation and self-efficacy are(2)whether the social participation and self-efficacy of military cadres are related;(3)influences.This article mainly through the investigation and study draws the following conclusions:1,In the study,it was found that the individual differences at the level of demographic significance had no significant effect on selfefficacy.Except for the big difference in gender between men and women,age,education level,income level,health status,marital status No other factors showed significant differences.This conclusion is related to the high homogeneity of the selected object.2.Based on the results of this study,we can conclude that different aspects of social participation do have an impact on self-efficacy and that,overall,the effect is positive.While the loss of aging cannot be controlled,their negative effects can be cushioned by adding effective coping strategies and self-efficacy beliefs.Current research provides evidence of the potential of older people to participate in society as an effective way to help older people regain their faith in self-efficacy in coping with stress and thus make up for the lack of role in life.As society’s perceptions of aging are constantly changing,the value of social participation of the elderly is underlined,awareness of the potential of the social contribution of older persons should be established,and the skills and experience of existing and future older persons should be recognized and used as an important community resource. |
