Research On The Project Of Spiritual Consolation For Empty Nesters In Rural Communities

Since China entered an aging society,the issue of old-age care has received wide attention from all walks of life.Along with the increase in the base of the elderly population and the changes in the family structure,the phenomenon of "pure old family"has become more and more obvious,and "empty nesting" has gradually become the label of China’s aging society.Based on the project of "Warming the Heart and Protecting the Nest and Benefiting the Road" in the Y Community of Suzhou City,this paper selects ten empty nesters based on the preliminary needs of the service target,and forms a spiritual consolation mutual aid group to assist the empty nest through a series of group activities.The elderly solve problems in relational maintenance,emotional reconciliation,and psychological care;promote team members to build mutual support networks,guide bad emotions,establish self-confidence in life,and promote empty nesters to better live in their later years.In the content layout,firstly,a brief overview of the research background and project content,focus on the relevant literature in the past,and integrate relevant project experience to design the measurement questionnaire and practice plan.Secondly,it analyzes the bad problems of the empty-nest elderly service objects in the Y community and explores the reasons.The survey found that as they age,the social circle is shrinking,and the ability of self-help and mutual assistance is declining,which brings many problems to the individual.According to the collected data,the mutual aid group will be set up,and the practical mode and skill application of the project will be studied and analyzed.Finally,evaluate the effectiveness of project services,refine the practical techniques and experience,and provide targeted countermeasures and suggestions while reflecting on the shortcomings of the project.This study aims to provide a practical model and ideas for the social work practice intervention through the project of the rural empty nest elderly spiritual consolation group in southern Jiangsu,and provide practical suggestions for improving and innovating the elderly social work service model.
