A Study Of Charity Mechanism Against The Background Of "Internet +"

As government’s “Internet +” plan getting into shape,various industries were rendered new path of development.It also ushered a new age of development for charity.In recent years,charity in China has begun to try to use the Internet as an intermediary for its range of radiation and influence,to integrate network resources,mobilizing the power of netizens to carry out charitable fund-raising activities on the cyberspaces,and has achieved certain effects.At present,though charity in China has witnessed a radical development,its mechanisms are more or less imperfect.Academic researches in this field are also relatively scanty.Based on detailed analysis,this paper aims to find out salient issues of the network charity mechanisms,through careful researches offers suggestions to improve it and enriches the research in this field.Based on domestic and foreign researches this paper aims to clarify the concepts of traditional charitable donations and network-based charitable donations and by contrastive analysis discover the advantages and feasibilities of network-based charity.This paper introduces “stakeholder theory” to analyze the relations among four main stakeholders,which include charitable organizations,public network,network media and government,in the charity network mechanism.In the network charity mechanism,each agent shares quite differing responsibilities and indicators are also different in terms of importance.Therefore,quantitative research method is required to select the key factors in the initial stage of network charity.Then key factors selected are put in the context of typical cases and the realities of network charity to get further investigated so as to figure out the dilemmas each agent finds itself in and the reasons behind the dilemmas.In the end,by drawing on beneficial experiences from United Kingdom and United States and combing the actual conditions of charity development in our country,this paper proposes an ideal model of charity mechanism as a way to render helpful advices to the cause of charity in our country.This paper through rigorous researches came to the following conclusions: against the background of “Internet +”,charity organizations should break through fixed trend of thinking,advance with times and wage active corporations with internet;it requires a multi-facets approach to perfect the charity mechanism;responsibilities must be clarified among the four stakeholders in network charity mechanism;charity organizations must be able to grasp the key fac tors among various factors to pin dow n the key problem and put forward well-focused solutions.
