The Korean Interpreter Of Qing Dynasty’s Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan

Tribute system in Qing Dynasty further developed,Korean Dynasty had became the most close vassal relationship for the Qing Dynasty.To follow the prescribed system rigorously enforce the prohibition of the Qing Dynasty,the tributary was particularly important,in this period Tributary became the main way between the two sides exchanged.In the exchanges between the Qing Dynasty and the Korean Dynasty,the Korean Interpreter acted as a bridge at the forefront of communication,their words and deeds also played a certain influence on the exchanges between the Qing Dynasty and the Korean Dynasty at the time.At the same time,the development and changes of the relations between the two countries affects the Korean Interpreter set up in the Qing Dynasty.The Korean Interpreter can be said to be the most sensitive group in response to relationship changes between the Qing Dynasty and the Korean Dynasty.In addition,the "Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan" as the guest house agency is responsible for the reception and management of the tribute countries,which is an important part of the tributary system.However,the" Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan" of Qing Dynasty only set up the sense of the Korean Dynasty side.In view of the particularity and importance,this article focuses on the Korean Interpreter groups of the Qing Dynasty.So I regard the Korean Interpreter of"Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan" as the research object,trying to study the setting of Korean Interpreter,the function of Korean Interpreter and the influence of Korean Interpreter in the exchanges between the two countries under the political system.This thesis is divided into three parts:introduction,theory and conclusion.The introduction part mainly elaborates the thesis research purpose and meaning,the related research trend,the research ideas and methods as well as the feasibility.The theory is divided into three parts:The first part is mainly about the setting of "Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan".To introduce the functions and the composition of the main staff of "Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan",as well as the formation and evolution of "Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan" building.The second part mainly discusses the setting of Korean Interpreter in the"Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan".First of all,the "Hui-Tong-Si-Yi Guan" as the guest house agency only set the Korean Interpreter,which is a special phenomenon.I try to discuss and probe into its causes.Secondly,it examines the personnel sources of the Korean Interpreter.Thirdly,I try to explore the grade settings and personnel changes of the Korean Interpreter,analysis the reasons of turnover.Finally,I will study the selection and assessment of Korean Interpreter,further explore the Korean Interpreter’s official requirements.The third part mainly discusses the duty of the Korean Interpreter.The Korean Interpreter intercourse between the Qing Dynasty and the Korean Dynasty,acting as a bridge of communication between the two countries.First of all,I will discuss the duty of the Korean Interpreter and its role in the exchanges between the Qing Dynasty and the Korean Dynasty.Secondly,I will examine the Korean Interpreter’s cross-cutting behavior and explore its impact in the two countries ’ relations.Finally,the main body content is generalized and summarized,meanwhile we will get the conclusion of this paper.
