| Perception is a key issue in philosophical research. The discussion on perception issues mainly involves two issues. One is whether we can gain perceptual experience about the external world? The second is whether we can acquire perceptual knowledge about the external world? Skepticism based on the "Common Kind Claim" believes that our real perceptions are subjectively indistinguishable from the situations established by skepticism, thus denying that we can obtain perceptual experience and perceptual knowledge about the external world. The " Na(?)ve Realism " based on common sense was the first to be challenged by skepticism, and then this article analyzes the defense of perception and the response to skepticism by two important perceptual theories," sense-datum theory" and " intentionalism ".But all ended in failure. Therefore, the article turns to another perceptual theory based on " Na(?)ve Realism " that has emerged in the contemporary era, namely "disjunctivism".The article analyzes the main skepticism challenges faced by perception and perceptual knowledge,as well as combing the theoretical views of disjunctivism, and concludes that disjunctivism can provide better defenses for perception and perceptual knowledge, and can effectively Responding to the challenge of skepticism. There are two main forms of disjunctiveism in contemporary times. One is "metaphysical disjunctivism",which mainly discusses the essence of perceptual experience;the other is "epistemological disjunctivism",which mainly discusses "perceptual knowledge".epistemic support issues."Metaphysical disjunctivism" uses Hinton,M.G.F.Martin,John Mc Dowell,Heather Logue and others to refute the " Common Kind Claim " by distinguishing the essence of veridical perception, illusion, and hallucination, thereby ensuring that we can truly obtain the possibility of perceptual experience in the external world."Epistemological disjunctivisim" is mainly based on Duncan Prichard.By analyzing the relationship between "seeing that P" and "knowing that P" and distinguishing between "good case" and "bad case" of cognition,it reconciles the the contradiction between Internalist and externalism and provides us with a kind of epistemic support that is both factive and reflective, thus ensuring the possibility that we can obtain perceptual knowledge through perception. Therefore, the article believes that disjunctivism through these two forms is a good defense of our perception and perceptual knowledge, and a powerful response to the challenge of skepticism, thereby ensuring the possibility of us being able to truly communicate with the outside world. |
