As an important way of cultural tourism experience,with the improvement of tourism conditions around the ancient town tourism infrastructure,more and more tourists began to pay attention to this new form of tourism,nowadays,the ancient town tourism has presented a good development trend.At present,the tourism market of the ancient town is relatively fierce,in the process of renewal and reconstruction of the ancient town,it is easy to constructed demolition,homogeneous and over commercialization,which not only dilute the cultural mark of the place,but also form a uncoordinated style.The emotional and cultural inheritance of residents in ancient villages and towns are not only as an important content to preserve the local context and improve the living life,but also take an important step for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.Yunnan Heijing ancient town,a famous Chinese historical and cultural town,was selected as the case site,through a three-month-long fieldwork survey,Using spatial elements,community residents and collective memory in living museum theory as an analytical framework,by participating in the observation and in-depth interviews with22 typical respondents in Heijing ancient town and recording their daily life,analyze their daily living space,and explain the spatial entity perception by each respondent,through tribal mapping,its emotions are intuitively drawn on emotional maps and imagine maps,which have a comprehensive understanding of the respondents’ physical perception space,daily living space,emotional space and imagine space.Through the interview and investigation in Heijing ancient town,here are the conclusion,first of all,respondent’s daily life are centralized in second street,they shows a positive emotion to traditional buildings and historical sites,neutral emotion focused on natural objects and functional facilities,negative emotion distribution in farmer market area,imagine elements are mainly concentrated in the place where with more daily activity,imagine elements are mainly included town expansion,infrastructure improve,tourism product development and salt culture optimization.What’s more,through sorting out and analyzing the respondents’ daily life track,emotional space and imagine space,the "trait intention" and "collective memory" of the ancient town are found,which provide development inspiration for the construction of the Salt Culture Eco-Museum in Heijing ancient town.
