Research On The Characteristics And Singing Practice Of The Art Song Lei Ci

Lei Ci is a work written by Matthew Arnold,a Victorian poet and critic in Britain.Later,it was translated into Chinese by Xu Zhimo,a new moon poet in China.In1996,Zhang Rui,a teacher from Tianjin Conservatory of music,wrote its score into an art song,which has been widely spread in recent years and has become one of the most popular works in China’s art song music world.Based on the death of a friend,the work tells a wonderful but sad life of the friend in simple words and plain language,showing a strong sense of sadness.The work also criticizes the dullness of society under the appearance of prosperity from the side.The research of this paper is mainly carried out from two aspects: the work characteristics and singing practice of the art song Lei Ci,which is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the analysis of music characteristics,which summarizes that the musical form of the work is a "parallel single four part" structure,the melody has the characteristics of "tenderness" and "passion",and the piano accompaniment has the characteristics of the combination of "movement" and "stillness".The second chapter is the analysis of aesthetic characteristics,which summarizes the three characteristics of the work,such as "text beauty","character beauty" and "artistic conception beauty".The third chapter is the study of singing practice,which summarizes the following key points of singing works: 1.In terms of articulation and enunciation,we should achieve "correct pronunciation and round cavity",and also do a good job in the connection of "open vowel and closed vowel" and the conversion of "solid bite and light bite";2.In terms of singing breath,we should "breathe well,use well and change well";3.In terms of singing emotion,we should deeply understand the role setting of "she" and integrate ourselves into the emotional atmosphere of the combination of "sadness,praise and regret".The purpose of the research is to go deep into the art song Lei Ci through the combination of theory and practice,go into the work,perceive the work,explore the singing skills of the work,excavate the humanistic charm of the work,and promote the development of national art songs while enriching the theoretical research results of the work.
