On The Application Of Decorative Language In Sculpture

Decorative language is a kind of artistic language,which is widely used in painting,design,sculpture,animation and other artistic creation.In theoretical research,there are more researches on the application of decorative language in painting creation,while there are less researches on the application of decorative language in sculpture creation.Through the analysis and research of Chinese and foreign classic sculpture works,combined with work examples,the author expounds the basic characteristics of decorative language in sculpture creation,And used in their own graduation creation.The main content of this thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is an overview of decorative language,which mainly explains the basic concept of decoration,analyzes the origin of decorative art,and discusses the definition of decorative language;The second part introduces the application of decorative language in sculpture works in detail,and analyzes the specific application of decorative language from four aspects: modeling characteristics,formal beauty rules,materials and color expression;The third part is the analysis of the author’s graduation creation,specifically discusses the embodiment of decorative language in personal creation,and tells the application of decorative language through the multi-dimensional analysis of the three works.Sculpture creation should inherit tradition and innovation,combined with the application of decorative language,create more artistic sculpture works and enrich the expression forms of sculpture art.
