Investigation And Research On Folk Drum Music In Tumed Region Of Inner Mongolia

The drum music and drummer classes in Tumet area were introduced from Shanxi with immigrants.At first,drummers only played traditional repertoires and the tunes of Jin Opera.With the process of cultural integration,drummers learned from other musical cultures in the region,and added Shanqu,meditation cavity,duet music,etc.to create tumed regional drum music with local characteristics and form their own performance system.This paper takes the drummer class in Tumet area as the research object.The paper consists of introduction and three chapters.The first chapter combs the cultural background and historical evolution of drum music in Tumet area,and expounds the special cultural background of Tumet area from three aspects: the evolution of physical geography and administration,the change of national composition and production mode,and the composition of regional folk music culture.The drum music in tumed area originates from the drum music culture in northern Shanxi.After explaining the cultural background,this chapter combs the cultural connection and historical evolution of the two regions;The second chapter is the investigation of the "event banquet" activities of the drummer class under the funeral ceremony.Through the participation and observation of the ritual music activities of the drummer class held in different cultural spaces in towns and villages,the case description and current situation analysis are carried out;The third chapter is the composition and contemporary inheritance of the drummer class in Tumet area.Built on the field data,it explains the composition of the music class personnel,the musical instruments played by the music class,the performance repertoire,the performance form and performance type,and the inheritance of the skills of the drummers.From the north of Shanxi Province,the drum music took root and grew in tumed area,absorbed and integrated local culture according to local conditions,presented a new appearance,and showed fresh vitality with the continuous evolution of the needs of the time.In the funeral ceremony,the drum craftsman class has different symbolic meanings for the dead,gods,filial sons and grandchildren and the surrounding people,which gave birth to the functions of building momentum,gathering people,comforting,entertainment and survival.
