The opera of Shandong during the Qianjia period has certain cultural value, aesthetic value, and practical significance.Shandong, the hometown of the saints, has had a deep cultural heritage since ancient times, and the Shandong opera scene has provided a rare perspective and an important reference system for the overall presentation of the history and characteristics of the development of Chinese opera throughout the dynamic historical process of the development of this art form.By the Qian-Jia period, although the achievements of Shandong opera were not as glamorous as those of the previous generation, they still had rich aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotations, and occupied an important place in the history of opera. The social and cultural environment of the Qian-Jia period was complex, with politics, economics, culture and the development of opera closely related.Current events, such as the Qian-Jia period’s ten full wugong, canal maladministration, and writing prison,as well as the regional cultural environment, such as the concept of re-education,theatrical performance activities, and the culture of farming and reading, provided the regional characteristics that supported the creation of opera by Shandong opera artists. The creative concepts of Shandong opera artists in the Qianjia period were largely influenced by the identity of the opera artists, the regional environment, and the cultural background. The influence of academic culture, mainly scripture, gave rise to a strong academic character, and the Confucian style gave rise to a "gentle and generous" creative consciousness. The country of Qilu nurtured the romantic sentiment of taking in the wisdom of the Qiqi region and the elegant and pure, but not the archaic and rigid view of elegance. The themes of Shandong opera works during the Qian-Jia period were diverse, and the genres involved were very common under the strict cultural policy.Women’s life dramas focused on women’s life, showing the sorrow of women’s daughters and the sadness of their years, presenting valuable humanistic concerns;literati life dramas were mostly about the self-dissipation of disillusioned literati, the concern and contemplation of literati about their own fate;ethical and moral education dramas were aimed at persuading good and abstaining from evil, promoting the moral code of loyalty, filial piety and virtue.Qianjia Shandong opera has a unique artistic value.Lyrical single-fold miscellaneous plays emerged in large numbers, miscellaneous plays off the awareness of the purpose of fading, footwear streamlined, the legendary section white reduced, alternating between the North and South;structure of the miscellaneous plays to write mainly realistic, the legendary focus on clever and rigorous, interspersed with the layout of multiple clues of the voodoo;in terms of language style,Shandong plays as a whole present poetry for the song, elegant and vulgar style of composition.Whether in the longitude of time or in the latitude of space,Shandong in the Qianjia period is a bright landscape on the map of opera history.Wrapped in the wind of Qianjia,it was unrestrained in the land of Qilu, showing the elegance of the next era of opera.
