A Study On The Expressions Of Characters In Portrait Oil Paintings

As the carrier of transmitting information and expressing emotions,facial expressions are the most important means of communication with language.In portraiture oil painting,in addition to conveying the inner emotions of the painted object,the expression of the characters is also the expression of the expression of the characters in the portraiture oil painting to convey their thoughts,feelings and aesthetic propositions to the audience,so as to show the social state and show the humanities.Spirit,to achieve people’s artistic emotional resonance.This paper focuses on the subject of the study of the human expression in portrait oil painting.First of all,it starts with portrait oil painting,and through reading the existing relevant literature to understand its origin and evolution process,to determine the scope and lay the foundation for the study of human expression.Secondly,through in-depth analysis of the expressions of the characters in the portrait oil paintings,through the analysis and comparison of the images,the changes of the expressions of the characters under the individual differences and the expression methods of the characters in the portrait oil paintings are summarized.Then,select representative portrait oil paintings of different periods,and conduct in-depth analysis on "character expressions".On this basis,combined with the background of the times,inheritance and innovation,a variety of comprehensive analysis methods are used to expound the influence and significance of human expressions in portrait oil painting.Finally,in the creation of my "Portrait" series,the expression of the characters is an important element,and the content of theoretical research is reflected in my creative practice.In today’s "people-oriented" era,the study of people is still an important topic in this era,and it is also the responsibility of artists.I hope to establish a systematic and scientific research method from theory and practice through theoretical research on the expressions of characters in portrait oil painting,so that this research has extensive extension and profound significance.
