| In the field of painting,the most important and the first to win the attention factor of a good work is whether the relationship between black,white and gray is loud or not.Generally speaking,the relationship between black,white and gray is the overall relationship between the bright part,the dark part and the middle tone of the picture.It is an important expression of whether the work contains the external formal beauty and contains the inner spiritual temperament,and it has independent aesthetic significance and value.The art of painting is a small universe created by people in a special way to express themselves.Personal thoughts and sentiments are the center of this universe,and the composition of black,white and gray is the bridge that transforms the painter’s thoughts and emotions into concrete expressions.Black,white and gray distribution has strong ordered contrast,not only can incisively and vividly convey the emotion that the author wants to express,give the viewer extremely pleasant visual experience;It also hides the painter’s cognition of objects,thinking about life,and contemplation of his own heart.Nature provides us with basic materials,which must be designed and combined with a sensitive mind to make the best use of these materials.Therefore,the composition of black,white and gray is not simply copying objects in nature,but requires the painter to generalize and summarize the picture with creative thinking.Nowadays,almost all artists who are good at thinking and diligent are exploring their own way of painting language.How to make the composition of black,white and gray serves their picture content is the top priority of artistic creation.This article is aimed at this purpose,trying to explain some basic concepts,rules,principles,techniques and use.This thesis is divided into four chapters.The chapter one will interprets black-and-white gray from three sections.There are the concept of black-and-white gray;factors affecting black,white and gray;abstract thinking in black,white and gray.Each part is dissected in depth in order to consolidate the understanding of black,white and gray.The chapter two will elaborates the role of black,white and gray in the picture in detail,highlighting the significance of black,white and gray in the picture from four aspects of keynote,vision,level and balance.The chapter three will be to summarize and analyze the master’s works,and experience the master’s unique using of black,white and gray composition.In the last chapter,the author integrates the theoretical knowledge mentioned above into the practice during the postgraduate period,and applies the black,white and gray composition forms learned from the works of masters into his own works,and appreciates the charm of its composition in the continuous creation,so as to improve my own aesthetic level and cultivation. |
