Hayama Riko is a famous contemporary Japanese female writer who is famous for her portrayal of rich and delicate female psychology.She has created a large number of excellent literary works in the nearly forty years since she entered the literary arena.Hayama Riko has always been very concerned about the change and development of women’s fate,In The Lost World and The Feast of the Common people,she further connected women with family and society.In these two novels,Hayama Riko narrated the story of Japan’s bubble economy and the widening gap between rich and poor from a woman’s perspective.Meanwhile,through the voice of women,Hayama Riko reveals the darkness behind the prosperity of Japan’s bubble economy and various social problems caused by the polarization of the rich and the poor.Observing the society through women’s eyes and expressing opinions through women’s voices,these two novels have a strong gender political color.From the perspective of feminist narrates,this paper will analyze and summarize the rich and profound thematic implications in The Lost World and The Feast of the Common People,and explore and summarize the feminist narrative characteristics of Hayama Riko in these two works.This thesis is divided into three parts except the introduction and conclusion.The main contents are as follows:The introduction part explains the background and reason of the topic selection of this paper,and sorts out the research status of Hayama Riko at home and abroad.After summarizing the previous research results,the research characteristics and innovation of this paper are clarified.The first part analyzes how the explicit plot and the implicit process are presented and promoted in The Lost World and The Feast of the Common people,and makes clear the relationship between the explicit plot and the implicit process.The second part analyzes the effect of female staring in The Lost World and The Feast of the Common People from the perspective of narrative,using fixed internal perspective and transformational internal perspective.The third part starts from the narrative voice,based on the theoretical framework of Lancer’s Fictional Authority,explores the characteristics and concrete presentation of author narrative voice,individual narrative voice and collective narrative voice in The Lost World and The Feast of the Common people.In addition,by analyzing the male voice in the novel,the power of female voice and the authority of female narrative are further strengthened.The conclusion summarizes the whole text,and makes clear the feminist narrative characteristics of Hayama Riko in The Lost World and The Feast of the Common people.In these two novels,Hayama Riko demonstrates the subjectivity of female perspective and the power of female voice,and successfully constructs the authority of feminist narrative.In The Lost World and The Feast of the Common people,both the deep attention to the unfortunate fate of women and the profound disclosure of Japanese social problems have profound and long-term practical significance.
