A Study Of Lingyuan County Immigration In The Late Qing Dynasty And The Early Republic Of China

Lingyuan county is located in the west of Liaoning Province,subordinate to Chaoyang City,Liaoning Province,at the intersection of Liaoning,Hebei and Inner Mongolia.In the Qing Dynasty,it was the junction of Outer Mongolia and inner Han.Therefore,from the perspective of national cultural geography,Lingyuan is in the combination of Han culture and Mongolian culture.In history,Lingyuan county belongs to karaqin Left Banner,has experienced the construction evolution of tazigou hall and Jianchang County,and completely belongs to the Mongolian Banner in the early stage of construction.Today,the Mongols in Lingyuan county are also the Mongolian people left in the territory due to administrative changes,and the Han people in the territory are also the Han immigrants who have moved into karaqin Left Banner because of immigration and reclamation since the middle of the Qing Dynasty.Taking Lingyuan County as the research object,taking the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China as the time period,this paper analyzes and discusses the resettlement and reclamation of Lingyuan county and some social problems arising from the reclamation by using some original archives and historical materials such as the Mongolian archives of zasack Yamen in karaqin Left Banner and the Mongolian archives of the Royal Palace in karaqin Left Banner collected by Inner Mongolia archives,and referring to other relevant materials.This paper combs the context of immigrants in Lingyuan County,discusses the source of immigrants in Lingyuan county and the changes of population structure in Lingyuan area brought by immigrants,and has a deep understanding of immigration management in Lingyuan county.The full text consists of preface,text and conclusion.The preface includes the purpose and significance of the topic,the status of previous research,the introduction of main historical materials,research methods and innovations.The first chapter is "the evolution of Lingyuan county",which expounds the evolution of Lingyuan County in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China from the establishment of tazigou hall to the establishment of Lingyuan county;The second chapter is "the formation of immigrant villages in Lingyuan county",the source of immigrants in Lingyuan County,the emigration of immigrants and the changes of population structure in Lingyuan area brought by immigrants;The third chapter is "immigration management of Lingyuan county".This chapter discusses the immigration management of Lingyuan area after immigration reclamation.The conclusion makes a brief summary of the full text.
