Research On Narrative Strategy Of Inspirational Documentary ——Take The Graduation Work “Home In Shui Ethnic Group Regions” As An Example

Inspirational documentaries have the philosophical value of enlightening life and the educational function of triggering reflection.The value of human existence,the goal and significance of life are the social themes reflected in inspirational documentaries.They shoulder the philosophical and artistic mission of "literature carries Tao",and have an important impact on enhancing the confidence of Chinese culture and establishing correct socialist core values.With the rapid development of information technology in the context of media convergence in the new era,the audience’s aesthetics and needs are constantly changing.The content of documentaries is more diversified,the creation is more commercialized,and the operation is more market-oriented.For a long time,inspirational documentaries have no market,low output and mediocre reverse due to the limitations of documentary type creation and monotonous narration.The documentaries "a series of life" and "those things in history" have won good public praise.The success of these works depends on excellent documentary narration.Inspirational documentaries should learn from the creation of excellent documentaries,combine their own advantages,and pay attention to the innovation of narrative strategies on the premise of maintaining the authenticity.Based on the narrative strategy of inspirational documentaries,combined with the creative practice of the author’s graduation work "home in the water country",this paper studies the narrative of inspirational documentaries through documentary narrative theory and skills,using the methods of literature research,case analysis and comparative analysis.The author makes a comprehensive narration of some classic documentary narrative documents and documentary images at home and abroad,and makes a comparative analysis and summary of documentary narrative methods from the aspects of narrative structure,narrative perspective,narrative techniques,narrative elements and so on.It establishes a theoretical analysis framework from five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the background of the topic,the significance of the research,the overview of documentary narrative research,research methods and innovations;The second part is the definition of inspirational documentary,the concept and type of documentary narrative,and the development status of inspirational documentary;The third part is the inspirational documentary image cases and comparative analysis;The fourth part is the narrative strategy of inspirational documentary;The fifth part is the conclusion,which combs and summarizes the content of this paper.Through the research on the narrative strategy of inspirational documentaries,explore the new narrative pattern of inspirational documentaries,reshape the narrative concept of the creators of inspirational documentaries,and provide some theoretical reference for the creation and research of inspirational documentaries.
