Research On The Style Of Ding Jing’s Seal Carving Works And Its Enlightenment To My Creation

Since Kang and Qian dynasties,due to the rise of epigraphy textual research,the art of literati seal carving has flourished and developed.For a time,there were a large number of famous scholars and schools,showing a rich and diverse atmosphere.On the occasion of "Zhejiang long along Lin Hetian school",Ding Jing suddenly rose,wash away the soft and charming style of the printing area.Its seal carving is based on the Qin and Han Dynasties,and it is ancient and steep.The "Zhejiang School" opened up has become an epoch-making page in the history of seal carving and has a far-reaching impact.This paper aims to study the origin,style and expression techniques of Ding Jing’s seal carving art.At the beginning of writing,first of all,the spread and loss of Ding Jing’s seal carving were clarified through the literature records such as the treatise on seal printing and the preface of seal printing.Then,combined with the evolution and inheritance of the printing style in previous dynasties,this paper interprets its origin and divides the style types.The style and form of its seal carving art are analyzed from the aspects of calligraphy,knife and so on.On this basis,the article discusses the formation origin of "Zhejiang School" seal carving and the inheritance context between Xiling schools,and clearly understands the trade-offs and disadvantages in the evolution of Zhejiang School.At the same time,strive to objectively evaluate the value and practical significance of Ding Jing’s seal carving,and guide the author’s creative practice.
