Zhang Chu’s novel creation has obvious "two sides".On the one hand,Zhang Chu’s novels emphasize objectivity and rationality. He always adheres to realism, reflects all kinds of life and practical problems in the world with words, depicts small people in trouble, and shows their loneliness and struggle. At the same time,he seems to treat these characters coldly,He will not deliberately arrange any happy ending, nor will he design a way out for them to escape from difficulties, but quietly watch them sink or resist in the pressure of survival and helpless struggle. But he never liked to judge those who made mistakes from the commanding height of morality, but told their stories with a "third-party" attitude. On the other hand, his bones are full of emotional warmth."External hardness and internal softness" is a very suitable adjective for Zhang Chu.He is a man who is trapped in the dark but still believes in the light. If his cold appearance is broken, there is a love for life and a praise for the warmth of human nature,But this temperature is often covered up under his pessimistic rational realism.Behind such a literary style of blending cold and warm and combining hardness and softness, one of the themes of Zhang Chu’s novel creation-the attention to people’s lonely survival dilemma is also unreservedly presented to readers and researchers through Zhang Chu’s literary world structure, characterization of character activities, adoption of artistic means and so on,It is full of the harmonious blending of rational spirit and perceptual thought.Throughout his novel creation,we will find that Zhang Chu is also trying to break the "survival dilemma" faced by the "Post-70s" writers with his own characteristics in his actual creation. This paper mainly analyzes the characteristics of the writing of survival dilemma in Zhang Chu’s novels from the following four chapters:The first chapter analyzes the construction of Zhang Chu’s personal literary world, and analyzes the endogenous causes of survival dilemma writing in Zhang Chu’s novel creation and the construction of literary space as the actual writing stage from the internal literary creation concept and external literary space construction. In terms of literary creation concept,Zhang Chu insists on paying attention to "loneliness",which has become the root feature of his writing of survival dilemma. In addition,Zhang Chu’s rational pessimism and his perceptual pursuit of the beauty of human nature constitute the special tone of his writing of survival dilemma. In the construction of literary space,Zhang Chu formed a binary space with "town" and "universe",in which he wrote about the difficulty of human survival. The second chapter analyzes the actual characterization of Zhang Chu’s survival dilemma by characters. It is mainly divided into three types: first, civil servants troubled by mediocrity, second, losers who try to get out of the dilemma by extreme means, and third, women who still insist on maintaining a clear attitude towards life in the plight of survival. The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of the writing of the survival dilemma in Zhang Chu’s novels from the narrative level.Zhang Chu uses narrative perspective, suspense setting and absurd plot to regulate the narrative presentation of the novel. What is revealed behind this is the interaction between rationality and sensibility in Zhang Chu’s creation. The fourth chapter discusses Zhang Chu’s unique value of the writer under his own special writing style of survival dilemma, including the integration of realism and avant-garde temperament, the "Empathy" on the basis of life experience, and takes Zhang Chu as an example to discuss the creative transformation problems and related thinking faced by the "Post-70s" writers, extract experience from Zhang Chu’s personal response.
