A Study On The Chinese Acceptance Of Woolf’s Main Poetics

For a century,the literary theory of our country has been deeply influenced by famous western writers.Virginia Woolf is such a writer and critic who has a profound influence on our country’s literature.Virginia Woolf’s creative writing and literary views have been introduced into China for nearly a century.After the acceptance and absorption on stream of consciousness write and novel form in the 1930 s,Virginia Woolf received more attention as the theoretical standard-bearer of feminist literary criticism in the 1980 s.During the post industrial era of the 21 st century,with the rise of Somaethestics,Woolf’s writing and cognition on the body have once again come to the forefront of literary criticism.with the development of times.Woolf’s Thoughts maintain spreading and extending in the field of literature,by which keep these thoughts eradicating new vitality from different dimensions.This article is divided into four chapters,to sort out the inner connection between Woolf’s poetics and Chinese literature from the connotation of Woolf’s poetics and the three stages of their acceptance in China.The first chapter of this paper traces the origin of Woolf’s poetic thought through the discussion of Chinese-style thinking,and discusses Woolf’s main poetic thought from two aspects: firstly,it sorts out some of Woolf’s stream-of-consciousness novels,sort out the stream of consciousness writing thought in the novel.Based on the research and analysis of Woolf’s "Modern Novel","Mr.Bennett and Mrs.Brown" and other novels,the author summarizes his core "inner truth" stream-of-consciousness literary creation views,and compares and contrasts them in his novels.elaborate.Secondly,this paper focuses on the interpretation of Woolf’s feminist poetics.Taking Woolf’s "A Room of One’s Own" and "Women and Novels" as examples,it analyzes and expounds feminist literature,puts forward the main principles of critical literature in the works,and analyzes the specific scope of its application.In addition,according to the actual conditions of women’s literature,the aesthetic standards of men’s literature are cited.In her writings,Woolf pointed out that women’s issues are the research center of her novels,and it is also her most concerned issue.She has always been concerned about the status of female writers in literary activities,and tried to determine the subject status and language system in literary works.change.In addition,Woolf proposed the idea of "androgyny",expressing the concept of gender equality beyond the times.The second chapter of this paper focuses on the 1920 s and 1930 s,and mainly summarizes the influence of Woolf’s stream of consciousness writing on modern Chinese literature.As the first scholar to introduce Woolf to the Chinese,Ye Gongchao spread Woolf’s stream-of-consciousness writing in academia through the translation of "Spots on the Wall",led by Xu Zhimo,Li Jianwu,Xiao Qian,and Lin Huiyin.Modern writers "bring it" without hesitation because of the urgent demand for literary innovation at that time.Li Jianwu’s "Heart Disease" and Lin Huiyin’s "Ninety-nine Degrees" both use the stream-of-consciousness writing method,and use a large number of inner monologues to describe the cross-section of life,breaking the plot-based vertical section of traditional novels of writing.The third chapter of this paper mainly focuses on the late 1980 s and the beginning of the new century,and mainly summarizes the influence of Woolf’s feminist poetics on Chinese literature in the new era.Woolf’s "androgyny" thought had a timely and rain-like effect on the lack of feminist literature in China at that time,and a large number of female writers and feminist literature began to appear in our country.Taking Chen Ran as an example,she has publicly stated that Woolf is her idol,and created works full of feminism such as "Paper" and "Private Life".On the basis of Woolf’s "androgyny" thought,Chen Ran proposed "super-gender consciousness",and the latter is undoubtedly the development and extension of the former.The fourth chapter of this paper focuses on the acceptance and research of Woolf’s somaesthetic thought and Chinese literature since the new century.Woolf’s somaesthetic thoughts originate from the influence of Descartes’ s mind-body dualism,focusing on the research and analysis of gender,nature,etc.Her somaesthetic thoughts also reveal the basic concept of feminism and the underlying logic of "androgyny".The introduction and acceptance of Woolf’s literary concepts will be untangled to get a clearer understanding of Woolf’s elements in Chinese modern and contemporary literature.From the changes in the acceptance preference of Woolf’s thought in Chinese literature in the past 100 years,the inner connection between Woolf’s poetic thought and the development of Chinese literature can be revealed.Through the discussion of the continuation and change of Woolf’s literary views in Chinese,we can also have a glimpse of the attitude of "taking doctrine" in the progress of Chinese modern and contemporary literature and art.
