Narration And Expression ——On The Creation Of The Documentary “My Homeland”

The documentary "My Homeland" aims at a rural home in Qingyuan City,Guangdong Province called "Guo Ran Ju",and tells the story of the characters in the home stay from leaving their hometown to returning to their hometown in the form of documentary images.In the documentary,the picture of the characters building and guarding their hometown moves others.It is not only the self-narration of the rural characters,but also shows the changes of The Times in China’s rural development.Based on the creation and practice of the documentary,this paper mainly expounds the narrative strategy,narrative perspective and audio-visual language expression.Through the multiple narrative theme,the selection of civilian characters,the use of parallel narrative structure of three aspects of its narrative strategy research;From the internal and external perspectives of multiple narrative perspective to show the character interview—participants’ self-statement,tracking shooting—the objective record of the creator;In terms of audio-visual language expression,this paper discusses the unique use of documentary lens,the innovation of editing rhythm and the creation of poetic atmosphere by music from lens language,editing rhythm and functional expression of music elements,so as to enhance the authenticity and interest of documentary.
