Understanding The Concept Of Modern And Contemporary Art From Bourdieu’s Art Field

Pierre Bourdieu’s art field theory is a study of aesthetic art from the perspective of sociology.Art field shows a new perspective for modern society,provides a research framework for the study of art concepts,goes beyond the research paradigm of traditional concepts,and has deep theoretical potential and universal methodological significance.This paper focuses on the understanding of Pierre Bourdieu’s field concept of contemporary art.This paper expounds from four parts.The preface basically combs and analyzes Bourdier’s research,and briefly expounds the background and research results of art field theory at home and abroad.The second chapter combs Bourdieu’s life and ideological origin,briefly describes Bourdieu’s research methods of art field,and paves the way for detailed theory;The third chapter analyzes the three core concepts in the art field: tool field,habit and capital,and expounds in detail the framework structure throughout the art field.The fourth chapter introduces the artist’s survival mentality,analyzes the relationship between artistic works and field connotation,analyzes the artistic concepts and works of artist Edmund Clark and artist Huang Yongyu,and deepens the understanding of Bourdieu’s concept.
