With the further deepening of education reform in our country,the cultivation of students’ thinking ability has become an important focus of education reform.English teaching is an important field to cultivate students’ thinking ability,and thinking visualization is a powerful weapon to reveal students’ thinking paths in English teaching.It is the general trend of education reform to pay attention to the application of thinking visualization in English teaching and to explore the path of students’ thinking.This research uses the methods of interviews,classroom observation,text analysis and case analysis,taking L Primary School in Z City as the research school.The outline of interviews and classroom observations is designed from the five levels of the thinking visualization teaching system:concept transformation layer,method technology layer,curriculum design layer,classroom environment layer,and effectiveness evaluation layer to explore the current situation of the teaching system of thinking visualization in English teaching of primary school,to find out the existing problems,and to put forward targeted suggestions.Through the investigation,we found the following problems in the teaching system of thinking visualization in English teaching of primary school.The transformation of thinking visualization teaching concept is superficial,and the theoretical cognition is vague;the understanding of thinking visualization technology is not comprehensive,and the application is inappropriate;the subjectivity of students in teaching is not fully exerted,and the curriculum design is not systematic;the implementation of thinking visualization teaching environment is limited,and existing classrooms The utilization of environmental resources is insufficient;there is a lack of a visual teaching evaluation mechanism for thinking,and the existing teaching evaluation system is superficially simplistic.In response to these problems,this study proposes the following improvement suggestions.Pay attention to the cultivation of higher-order thinking and form a scientific cognition of thinking visualization;comprehensive cognition of thinking visualization technology,and patterned application of thinking visualization technology;focus on students’ generative participation in the classroom and systematization of curriculum design;improve the utilization efficiency of the existing teaching environment and speed up the construction Future classroom environment;carry out visual teaching evaluation of specialized thinking,and build a multi-teaching evaluation model.Trying to promote the better application of thinking visualization in primary school English teaching.
