Research On The Application Of Traditional Pattern In Image Installation Art Design

Chinese traditional patterns have a long history and are rich in types,forms and meanings.They are precious artistic treasures of the Chinese nation.With the development of society,national culture has gradually attracted the attention of the public,and more and more artists have added traditional elements into their designs and creations.Traditional patterns are a part that cannot be ignored.Image installation art has become an important part of contemporary art forms,the combination of traditional patterns and image installation art,not only increases the visual appeal of the work,but also increases the cultural participation of the experiencer.Nowadays,many excellent works are derived from the combination of traditional culture and modern art.The two seem to be two independent existences,but when combined,they can achieve the effect of learning from each other.This paper starts from two aspects of traditional pattern and image installation art.Firstly,the relevant concepts of traditional pattern and video installation art are studied: the development and characteristics of the two are summarized respectively,the theoretical context and organizational structure of traditional pattern and video installation art are sorted out,and the classification and compatibility of video installation art are analyzed.Secondly,it studies the combination of traditional patterns and image installation art: it expounds the advantages of the application of traditional patterns in image installation art.The application of traditional pattern in image installation art is analyzed by case analysis method,and the present situation is questioned.Finally,the graduation design work "Infiltration" of traditional water pattern creation is selected.Combining with the creation concept and process of "infiltration",the design method and cultural consciousness of traditional pattern in image installation art are explored through practice.Taking the work "Infiltration" as an example,this paper deeply and meticulously analyzes the possibility and innovative form of the combination of traditional pattern and image installation art,which provides a certain theoretical application basis and creative practice experience for the combination of the two.Through analysis,induction,summary and creative practice,the research on the application of traditional patterns in installation image art design has made the following achievements:1.In theoretical research,through the analysis of the morphological characteristics of traditional patterns to construct ideas,thinking about creation,and reference the most instructive part of traditional patterns for image installation art as theoretical support.Through the case analysis of video installation art,the paper draws on the previous systematic exposition of its expression form,perception principle,creation skills and other aspects,clears up the fuzzy cognition of the theoretical structure and creation design of the two,so as to effectively link the traditional pattern with video installation art.2.In terms of creation practice,this topic through the traditional pattern selection,broadcast form,image creation,installation design of the creation of the four aspects of creation,summed up the relevant methods and skills,and on this basis to create the graduation design work "Infiltration".
