| “Jiang Jie” is a Chinese national opera written by Yan Su and composed by Yang Ming,Jiang Chunyang and Jinsha.“Jiang Jie” has incorporated a large number of Chinese opera elements into the creation,and has extensively drawn on local operas and folk tunes such as Sichuan Opera,Yue Opera,and Qing Yin.“Jiang Jie” promoted the nationalization of Chinese opera to a more mature stage and became the “second peak” in the history of Chinese opera.“The old lady with two pistols” is the main representative of the positive female characters in the play.Because the character is quite different from the actors’ own circumstance in terms of age,identity,and the background of the times,the actors will face difficulties in grasping the musical image and dramatic image,as well as the performance of the character.In this paper,the author summarizes the background of the opera "Jiang Jie" and analyzes the role of the “old lady with two pistols” from two aspects.First of all,the author interprets the characters in the opera script,and then analyzes the music of the three arias of “the old lady with two pistols”,and sorts out the dramatic image and musical image of the “old lady with two pistols”.Finally,based on the rehearsal experience of the opera “Jiang Jie” and the guidance of the opera director,the author summarizes the performance of the actors in the role of “The old lady with two pistols”in terms of description of figures personality,dialogue interpretation,body and eye expression interpretation skills,as well as singing skills in voice,breath,articulation,the presentation of Chinese opera styles and emotional expression.They provide a certain method basis for better interpretation of the role of “the old lady with two pistols”. |
