Form In The Creation Of Lacquer Painting By Yin Chengzhong Language Study

As one of the representatives of the third generation of modern Chinese lacquer painters and a leading figure of contemporary lacquer painting in Shanghai,has created his own unique lacquer painting language style in more than 40 years,and the formation of his style language is also formed in the process of continuous breakthrough,challenge and pursuit of self in the course of more than 40 years of creation.In this paper,we will focus on the history of Mr.Yin’s lacquer creation since the 1980s,the figurative expressions,the imagery,and the style of his works.In this paper,we will focus on the three stages of figurative expression,imagery expression and abstract expression,and analyze and interpret the stylistic characteristics of the works in these three stages in order to draw useful artistic nutrients from them and further improve my own lacquer art creation.As the famous art theorist Zhang Xiaoling said,Yin Chengzhong’s lacquer painting process is a microcosm of modern Chinese lacquer painting.He has witnessed the process of lacquer painting from a new generation to a growing one.There is no doubt that Mr.Yin’s life belongs to the art of lacquer painting,and studying the artistic language of his lacquer painting in detail is my hope that I can challenge myself like him and create more excellent lacquer paintings.
