Application Of Handkerchief In Northeast Yangko ——Take The Dance Work "Youth Like Song" As An Example

Dancing with props is one of the characteristics of Northeast Yangko dance."Handkerchief" is an important prop to express emotion and highlight style in Northeast Yangko.The unique regional characteristics and profound history and culture of Northeast China are displayed through the coordination of various handkerchief flowers,handkerchief techniques and other movements with dance rhythm and foot steps,which play an important role in the form of expression.According to the literature review,the current academic research on Northeast Yangko mainly focuses on the rhythm,repertoire and teaching of Northeast Yangko,while the number of research results on characteristic props in Northeast Yangko is relatively small.In this paper,taking Northeast China as the creative background,it tells the love of Northeast sisters for dance,and applies the representative handkerchiefs of Northeast Yangko props to the works.Through the methods of literature review,case analysis,interview and investigation,this paper analyzes and studies the application of handkerchiefs of northeast Yangko in dance drama in the original graduation work "Flowers Are Like Songs".In the work "Flowers Are Like Songs",the handkerchief is mainly used to show the shaping of dance images,enhance the expression of emotions and achieve the rendering of emotional atmosphere.Through the symbolic meaning of handkerchiefs and the display of handkerchiefs’ skills and movements,the dance works are full of northeast regional characteristics,which is also the innovation of the work "Flowers Like Songs" and brings unprecedented visual appreciation value to the audience.By studying the symbolic meaning and handkerchief skills of handkerchiefs,and analyzing the background in the creation of works,the application of handkerchiefs in Northeast Yangko can not only enhance the connotation of dance works,but also make more people understand and love Northeast folk dances.This paper discusses the symbolic significance of handkerchiefs and the expression forms of handkerchiefs skills in dance dramas,and provides some reference for the application of handkerchiefs in Northeast Yangko dance works in the future.
