| This paper examines the theory of comic dialogue in screen writing and explores the different ways in which comic dialogue techniques are used in creative writing,in the context of my graduation screenplay,The Long Shot.By clarifying the concept and development of comic dialogue, and by combining it with the practice of theatre and film production, the author focuses on the use of two techniques: repetitive dialogue and misunderstood dialogue. The text divides the repetitive dialogue into three elements: character, scene, and time, and draws out the technique of repetition across works. In the case of misunderstood dialogue, the concept of "information asymmetry" is used to analyze its nature and to illustrate three common techniques: shifting the focus, avoiding the focus, and misinterpreting the cause. Finally, the role of comic dialogue in the work is analyzed. |
