| As the appearance of painting,shape is first perceived by the viewer,The internal elements behind the shape are the shape,black and white,gray,color and so on,These elements pass through the painter’s organization,which is the so-called structure.How to organize the elements is the concern of the painter.David Hockney has been painting since the 1960 s and His works are constantly updated,The author is very interested in the causes and characteristics behind his paintings,so I hereby choose Hockney’s paintings for study.This paper studies the shape and structure in David Hockney’s paintings attempts to explain the organizational structure characteristics of its picture from the perspectives of light and shade,color and composition And as the starting point to inspire the author’s creation.The article is divided into three parts,Firstly,it summarizes the evolution of shape and structure in Hockney’s landscape portraits from college period,California period to recent period;Then analyze the characteristics of its shape and structure in the specific painting;Finally,combinded with the author’s creation to talk about Hockney’s inspiration to the author. |
