Research On The Musical Characteristics And Singing Analysis Of The Art Song "Lei Ci"

The art song "Lei ci" is a poem of the same name translateed by Mr.Xu Zhimo to his friend by the famous British modern poet,critic and Educator Bureau Matthew,which is incomparable in artistry and literature.Later,it was composed by Zhang Rui,a famous talent in modern times,a young teacher of Tianjin Conservatory of Music,it became a beautiful vocal work with great artistic characteristics.Since the release of the work,it has been unanimously loved by everyone.The author will start from his own singing experience in his graduation concert,and analyze the creative background,musical characteristics and singing practice of "Lei ci" in order to better interpret this art song.This paper mainly expounds from three aspects: 1.The author understands the creative background of the work and the creative style of the songwriter through research.2.the author analyze the characteristics of music from the perspectives of composition,rhythm and speed,harmony and piano accompaniment,as well as the relationship between lyrics and melody.3.The author analyze the singing of the work "Lei Ci" from the breath processing of singing,the articulation and emotional processing in the singing process,and combined with the author’s own singing practice cognition.It is hoped that the author’s research can bring a useful effect to the later vocal music learners.In addition,the author hopes that this paper can trigger more vocal music learners to study and discuss the works of Mr.Xu Zhimo and Ms.Zhang Rui,and bring more beautiful art songs to everyone.
