A Study Of Wittgenstein’s Cultural Theory Based On "Language-games"

Modern Western philosophy has realized the "linguistic turn",moving the solution of philosophical problems to the cleaning of language.In this turn,Wittgenstein is of great significance in modern Western philosophy.His philosophical thoughts include the the logical image of the world in the early stage and the language-game theory in the later stage.These two theories have obvious changes.Wittgenstein’s logical image is a methodology of traditional semiotics,based on the corresponding the logical images of the world of facts and propositions,while language-game theory is to return to life and obtain answers to questions in games.Culture,as an issue that has been discussed by philosophers since ancient times.It has systematically explained its extension and connotation.Wittgenstein applied his own language philosophy to the category of culture and formed a unique cultural theory.This paper consists of five parts.The first part of the introduction first reveals the origin and meaning of the topic,and sorts out and interprets the issues discussed.The second part mainly analyzes the cultural theories of relevant philosophers and explains the emergence of Wittgenstein’s cultural theory.The third part is to explain the linguistic basis of culture by discussing the meaning of culture in the use of language,the inheritance and communication of culture loaded by language rules,the communication of culture and the publicity of language.The fourth part is through the description of Wittgenstein’s early cultural theory and the discussion of the transformation process and influence of cultural theory from the early stage to the later stage,realizing the transformation of cultural theory from "logical" to "living",thus discussing Wittgenstein The formation and development of cultural theory.The fifth part is based on the process of cultural formation and development,the characteristics of culture and the elaboration of the possibility of communication and integration between different cultures,so as to realize the grasp of the main content of the cultural theory of "language game theory".The last part is a critique of Wittgenstein’s cultural theory,discussing achievements and dilemmas respectively.
