From the 1920s to the present,animation,a "young" art form,has developed in China and taken root in the country’s traditional culture,reflecting the national aesthetic consciousness of China.Under the development of media technology,the way of creation and dissemination of Chinese animation has changed,leading to the transformation of the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese animation.So far,Chinese animation in the new media era has improved in terms of picture quality and production technology,and the art style and aesthetic concept are also different from those of Chinese animation in the traditional media era.This paper compares the development of animation in the era of new media and traditional media from the perspective of aesthetics,and investigates the reasons for the transformation of the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese animation.The study of this paper is divided into three parts.The first part,chapters one to three,is a study of the development background of Chinese animation and the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese animation in the era of old and new media.It summarizes the aesthetic characteristics of Chinese animation in the new media era and the traditional media period,and provides information for the discussion of the transformation of the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese animation.The second part is the fourth chapter,citing Adorno’s view on cultural industry and art culture,which distinguishes this aesthetic paradigm by "self-regulation" and "other-regulation".At the same time,the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese animation in the 20 th century is analyzed from the perspective of the aesthetics of traditional Chinese painting,and the reasons for the difference in the aesthetic paradigm are discussed from the perspective of traditional thought.The third part is the fifth chapter,a summary of the above two.On the basis of Chinese aesthetic thought,it combines the practice to think about the aesthetic paradigm of Chinese animation in creation in the new media era and find out a solution that Chinese animation can adapt to the new media social environment.By studying the reasons for the aesthetic transformation of animation,this paper finds out the direction of development and aesthetic problems of domestic animation in the new media era,and looks for countermeasures that will have significance for the future benign development of China’s animation academic and industry.We hope to provide reference for enhancing the cultural competitiveness of Chinese animation in the international arena and carrying forward the national spirit and unique oriental aesthetics.
