Research On The Way Of Performing Peking Opera Under The New Media Context

This paper focuses on the traditional Peking Opera art and the emerging new media art,and discusses the changes in the exhibition and performance mode of Peking Opera in the context of new media.Nowadays,the combination of new media art and traditional drama has a great impact on the presentation of the stage,the performance habits of the actors,and the audience’s viewing status.This influence extends to the art of Peking Opera,which is manifested as a new type of Peking Opera exhibition and performance method,which plays an important role in inheriting Peking Opera art,showing the beauty of traditional culture,and spreading the national spirit.This article is divided into five chapters and discussed in turn.The first chapter briefly expounds that since the 20 th century,the social environment has promoted the birth of new media art.As a product of science and art,it has shown a vigorous development trend in contemporary times.The development of Peking Opera as a traditional Chinese culture in contemporary society faces many problems that need to be solved urgently,and exploring the organic combination of the two has become the source of this article.The second chapter expounds the relevant content of Peking Opera art from the development process of Peking Opera to the flow of Peking Opera art display and performance methods,and finally to the practical problems faced by Peking Opera in contemporary times;the third chapter sorts out the development process and characteristics of new media art.And expounds the concept and characteristics of "art performance" in this context;The conclusion part proposes that under the influence of multiple disciplines and fields,art practice presents a trend of diversification.There should be an organic connection between new media art and Peking Opera art.While converging and merging,they should retain their respective aesthetic characteristics,break through the boundaries of time and space in Peking Opera art,and break the limitations of Peking Opera actors in their performances,or in performance venues.To create a virtual space in the middle,to bring an immersive viewing experience to the audience,to achieve better development.
