| New Year wood-block prints are a folk art form with thousands of years of cultural accumulation in China.Through historical changes,wood-block prints of different styles have been formed.Zhuxian Town in Kaifeng and Yangliuqing in Tianjin are famous wood-block prints producing areas in China,which contain profound cultural connotations and embody unique regional cultures.They are an important medium for transmitting traditional folk customs and regional cultures in northern China.Zhu Xianzhen and Yang Liuqing New Year wood-block prints are both important branches of the Chinese New Year picture system.From the perspective of historical development,the New Year wood-block prints in Zhuxian Town can be traced back to the Song Dynasty at the earliest.With the collapse of the Northern Song Dynasty,artists were forced to migrate due to the prolonged war,and the New Year wood-block prints industry was gradually disintegrated,showing a trend of decline.With the unification of the Yuan Dynasty,social life tended to be stable,and Chinese culture gradually showed a trend of integration.The unique artistic expression form of engraving and printing on paper and horse appeared in north Shanxi and Beijing,which spread to surrounding areas and had a certain influence on the performance of folk art.However,due to the early formation of Zhuxian Town New Year wood-block prints,more employees and special transportation location,it has a good foundation for development in northern China.The yangliuqing New Year wood-block prints in Zhuxian town had a later maturity period.They started in the Ming Dynasty and were mature in Beijing.However,their artistic characteristics are quite different from those in Zhuxian Town.Therefore,based on the changes and development of history,this paper introduces the perspective of regional culture research to place The New Year wood-block prints of Zhuxian Town and Yangliuqing in the context of regional and folk culture,and makes a survey of the overall background of folk art.Through the way of reading literature and image research,in-depth excavation of the woodcut New Year’s paintings vermilion immortals township and from historical background and art characteristics,from the show external form,style characteristics to the inner of folk customs,the study of regional culture were situated in both commonness and individuality,thus it is concluded that the traditional woodblock New Year pictures in nature and essence of the transformation in the process of historical change,Understand the real connotation of wood-block New Year pictures and the unique artistic aesthetic and cultural value of wood-block New Year pictures under the influence of regional culture. |
