The Practice And Exploration Of Oil Painting Series—A Study Of "The Abandoned Old Factory"

Since China entered the industrial age,people’s living standards have gradually improved,and industrial-themed paintings have also increased,while abandoned old factories have become historical witnesses of social development.The abandoned Old Factory series takes the factory in the author’s childhood hometown as the creation subject,and scenes inside and outside the abandoned old factory building as the creation object,pursuing dignified colors and realistic painting language to depict the pictures.This article mainly from the creation topic selection,expression method and creation ideas and feelings and so on.First,it discusses the significance of the topic and the idea of creation.Secondly,I analyze the composition of the picture,the use of color and the expression of emotion in the creation.Finally,summed up this creation experience and perception.This creation is a demonstration and report of graduate creative practice,and also provides reference experience for further exploration and practice in the field of painting in the future.
