In order to adapt to the development of times,education should be innovated constantly.This is the inevitable direction of educational development.At the same time,the teaching innovation is the new normal of educational development.As an important aspect of basic education,English teaching in junior high school has experienced countless pioneers’ hard work by theory and practice.It has a qualitative and quantitative improvement both from the teaching concept to the teaching content.Vocabulary teaching has been the fundamental aspect in English teaching.The teaching innovation is a dynamic process of solving problems and emerging new problems.Improving the efficiency in vocabulary teaching has always been the common goal for both teaching and learning.Researchers of junior high school English have always been trying to break through this difficulty.The implementation of mind map is a revolution in English teaching.It has achieved a certain good result in English vocabulary teaching,but the use level of mind map has not been deepened.The purpose of this thesis is to deepen the use of mind map in English vocabulary teaching in junior high school,to form teaching ideas and teaching methods,thus effectively improving it’s efficiency as a word memory method for students,so as to institutionalize its use strategy.This thesis will comb the development of mind map,and apply the Constructivism and Schema theory to support its scientificity and practicality.In this thesis,the actual investigation process has been used to deepen the use of mind map.By analyzing the application of mind map in English vocabulary teaching process,depositing ideas,selecting methods,trying out the identity of mind map on both sides of teaching and learning from error teaching,thus to improve the junior high school vocabulary teaching efficiency eventually.
