As a form of performing arts,dance requires the choreography of the choreographer and the performance of the dancers.At the same time,it needs the cooperation of other elements such as music,props,stage art,lighting,and costumes to resonate with the audience on the stage.In the process of creation and performance,the dancer is the tool for the expression of the dance work,the main body of the performance,and the emotional carrier.Although dancers are limited by the work itself and the choreographer,they also have their own subjective initiative.Under the guidance of the choreographer,the actors should think actively,realize the secondary creation,add their own emotions and dance movements,fully demonstrate their own advantages,and convey their feelings through body language.In this process,dancers need to use secondary creation in the process of practice to express the cultural characteristics and style characteristics contained in the work,form unique choreography and emotions,and finally present a perfect dance work.As a dancer,through the personal perception of the dance "23 Seconds",I analyze the practical application and experience of the secondary creation in the whole choreography process.Through the study of the dance "23 Seconds",this paper discusses the importance and application of secondary creation from different perspectives.In the first part,the author gives a brief overview and concept of the dance "23 Seconds",expounding the status of the secondary creation in the whole dance.The second part,taking the dance "23 Seconds" as an example,the author explains how dancers perform secondary creations from two aspects of dance emotion and props.The third part,from the aspects of works and dancers,illustrates the importance of dancers’ secondary creation from the inside and outside.
