The Performance Intrepretation Of The Erhu Work "The Snowy Mountain Spiritual"

The Snowy Mountain Spiritual is a highly distinctive one-movement erhu concerto.As an excellent military-style erhu concerto,the work is based on the historical events of the Chinese revolution-the Long March of the Red Army.It presents the hardships of the Long March and the camarade rie of the Red Army soldiers through a clever combination of various traditional musical techniques and Western compositional techniques.This is a representative erhu work written by composer Liu Wenjin.It is a reflection of his deep vision and tireless efforts in the development of the art of erhu,as well as the remarkable achievements and unprecedented prosperity of the national art.In this article,I will draw on the existing academic theories,the current development of the erhu,and the theoretical and practical knowledge that I have built up over the years,and from my own understanding of the piece and my personal perceptions of its performance,with a discourse and exploration of the erhu work "Snow Mountain Soul" from three aspects: a nalysis of the work,use of technique and stage practice,so as to grasp the profound connotation of the work at a deeper level.
