| As one of the most representative realist opera composers,Puccini is good at using various exotic themes in his operas.His works "Madame Butterfly","Turandot" and"The Lady of the West" are some of the most exotic in the history of opera.This paper builds on previous research and delves into the authenticity of Puccini’s "exotic" works.This article focuses on the significant influence of "realism" in opera works,including Puccini’s exotic opera mood,the authenticity of Puccini’s "exotic" works.The first section of the first chapter mainly introduces the era background and cultural background of the realist works;the second section is about the basic characteristics of "drama","musical" and "aesthetic" of the realist opera.Expounded in detail;The third section mainly analyzes the reasons for the decline of realism.The second chapter starts with Puccini’s exotic feelings,and analyzes the content of three"exotic" works:"Madame Butterfly","Turandot" and "Western Girl".The third chapter makes a detailed analysis of Puccini’s three "exotic" realism,and the authenticity of the musical language in the opera.In the research process,in addition to the analysis by using sociology,history,art aesthetics and other multidisciplinary perspectives,various research methods such as comparison and analogy are also used.After evaluating the authenticity of Puccini’s three "exotic" operas from the three dimensions of subject matter,character and musical language,the following conclusions are drawn.In terms of themes,the three operas have a high level of restoration of the scripts,sets,lines and the exotic cultural customs of the places where the opera stories take place.In terms of character,Puccini in the three "exotic" operas can better reflect the different national cultural backgrounds of each character and the authenticity characteristics of each occupation when shaping the characters.In terms of musical language,the three "exotic" operas not only have obvious "exotic" characteristics,but also have Western music creation techniques,which greatly improves the authenticity of the three operas. |
