Research On Liang Youyu And His Poetry Collection

Liang Youyu,born in Shunde,Guangdong Province,is a famous writer in the middle of the Ming Dynasty.His ancestral home is Jiangxi.Eight volumes of the collection of poetry and prose Lanting Deposit Manuscript have been handed down.In addition to many works of association and singing with friends,there are also many historical events of the Ming Dynasty and Lingnan regional customs recorded in the book,which not only has high literary value,but also provides more detailed and specific literature materials for the literary research of the Ming Dynasty.On the basis of fully mastering the data,the author absorbs and draws lessons from the previous research results,uses the theories and methods of philology,takes Liang Youyu and his work Lanting Deposit Manuscript as the research object,and makes a textual research and summary on Liang Youyu’s life,poetry collection version,the selection of Liang Youyu’s poetry and prose in the general collection of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,as well as the acceptance and literature value of Liang Youyu’s poetry and prose.Firstly,it makes a textual research on Liang Youyu’s native place,life and friends.According to the official history,local chronicles and other documents,combined with the historical background of Liang Youyu,this paper examines Liang Youyu’s native place,life and friends.Sort out the family background of "Panyu","Shunde" and "Nanhai";This paper expounds his life experience from three parts: famous in Lingnan,being an official in Beijing,resigning from office and returning home;It focuses on the analysis of the details of singing and making friends with the members of the latter seven sons and the members of Nanyuan poetry society.Secondly,it combs the compilation of Liang Youyu’s poetry anthology and the circulation of its version.Mainly from the perspective of philology,this paper examines the compilation of Liang Youyu’s poetry anthology and its version circulation,and investigates its completion process and version circulation.The earliest documentary records on the compilation process of Liang Youyu’s poetry anthology were compiled by official Cao Tianyou and Liang Zi,a friend of Liang Youyu’s society.There are three versions of Liang Youyu’s Poetry Anthology: eight volumes of Lanting Deposit Manuscript and the engraved version of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty;Lanting Deposit Manuscript has eight volumes,and "appendix" has one volume,which is the engraved version of Liang Yiyan hall in the 24 th year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty;Eight volumes of Lanting Deposit Manuscript,a manuscript of Miao’s lotus root fragrance.Then the collection of Liang Youyu’s poems and essays in the general collection of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.It focuses on combing the collection of Liang Youyu’s poems and essays in the general works of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In addition to the more comprehensive Hundreds of Poems in Ming Dynasty compiled by Yu Xianbian,the Notes on the Newly Engraved Collection of Seven Poems of the Ming Dynasty compiled by Chen Jiru,and the Poems by the First Five Gentlemen of Nanyuan and the last Five Gentlemen of Nanyuan compiled by Chen Wenzao.In this part,the author also collects and arranges the selection of Liang Youyu’s poems and essays in other general collections of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and explores the reasons for the selection.Finally,starting with the literary style and literature value of Liang Youyu’s poetry,this paper discusses and analyzes the affirmation and acceptance of the literary style of Liang Youyu’s poetry in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.This paper deeply analyzes the literature value of Liang Youyu’s poems and prose from three aspects: supplementing the shortcomings of official history,enriching the research of regional literature and deepening the research of poet groups in the Ming Dynasty.
