A Study On The Growth Of Young Female Characters In Chinese Youth Films

As a kind of subgenre of film,youth film occupies an important position in the domestic film market and forms its own unique style.Growing up is one of the indispensable themes in youth films,especially for the young subjects in the special period,growing up is of great significance.Growing up in teen movies tends to express the change of heart after the inner world of an individual collides with the rules of society,while young women tend to be more sensitive and complicated than men.The nuances of the adolescent body,the precocious psychology,the emotional crises and perplexities that come with age,the marginalisation of young women in patriarchal societies and families,all make their development unique.However,the development of young female characters in youth films is not complete,and some characters still have distorted and regressive image,and can not really show the inner feelings and living conditions of young women.Therefore,using youth films as a research text to discuss the growth of young women,the thesis is divided into four main sections.The first chapter begins with the identity issues encountered by youth growing up.It analyzes the changes in identity dilemmas and how to grow in the process of exploring identity.Chapter two analyzes the growth environment that shapes young women’s roles.The study starts from the influence of family environment and social environment on the growth of young women.Chapter three sorts out the influence of young women’s growth on creative writing by sorting out the intuitive changes in narrative and image in creative writing,as well as the subjective interpretations of women’s growth in practical writing.
