| In 1947,the CIA was formally established,and the US intelligence agency established against the backdrop of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union had carried out several large-scale regime subversion in half a century.The fundamental reason is that after the United States became a global hegemony,it tried to safeguard the economic interests and strategic position of the United States at a relatively low cost in various regions of the world and cope with the challenges of the Soviet Union.Compared with the public action of the United States directly sending troops or imposing sanctions against the relevant countries,the covert action has its own characteristics and logic.The CIA plays the role of planning and executing every covert operation in the United States.As the intelligence agency in charge of American foreign affairs in the United States,its main role is espionage,and the covert operation is also the exclusive content of the CIA.Through its global intelligence network,it can dynamically understand the international situation in real time,which can be quickly detected,facilitating its next action plan.Covert action is not arbitrary,and the CIA is not an omnipotent operator and disrupter.Restricted by the specific situation of different regions,the importance of American interests,domestic politics,ideology,domestic and foreign public opinion and national image,the covert actions of the United States are more complex,especially when we make a specific analysis of its decision-making process.The United States choose to perform covert action countries and regions are mostly located in Asia,Africa and Latin America,these areas mostly belong to the third world,through the observation and analysis of the CIA in different regions planning implementation of covert action,it can be concluded that the United States in different regions,for the choice of covert action will be different.The author tries to analyze the similarities and differences of the CIA during the Cold War and sort out the similarities and differences,so as to better understand the decision logic and historical evolution of the US covert operations during the Cold War.Covert action seriously trampled on the dignity of international law,in the context of the cold war,the implementation of every covert action,caused the great damage to the stability of relevant countries,by selling American democracy "drugs",to these countries make false news,thus dominant advantage in public opinion,this is still the CIA common covert action,our country still need to be vigilant. |
