In order to stabilize the national political situation, the Ming Court decided to inherit the throne by Jingtai Emperor. After emperor Jingtai ascended the throne,he decided to strengthen the northern defense. The neighboring Korea, suspicious of Ming’s status as a great power, was reluctant to provide military assistance despite the Crisis. In order to consolidate the image of the Ming Dynasty and stabilize sino-Korean relations,Emperor Jingtai sent Ni Qian to Korea to announce his enthronement. After ni Qian arrived in Korea,he first read the enthronement decree to Korea, and explained to Korea why Yingzong was captured and the particularity and rationality of Jingtai emperor’s enthronement, which eliminated Korea’s suspicion of the Ming Dynasty. At the same time,Ni Qian paid a visit to the Ji Zi Temple and the Confucius Temple, further consolidating the relationship between the two countries by increasing the cultural identity of the two countries. In addition,Ni Qian also answered a series of Korean literati on the political system and cultural confusion, such as cheng SAN wen and others to learn Chinese rhymes, but also with the Korean civil servants for poetry and learning.Ni Qian found on the way to the north Korean costume system, music dress, temple construction, museum dress and imperial examination system "with China".The appearance of " with China " is the reflection of the suzhou-vassal relationship between China and Korea,ni Qian’s knowledge and experience, and also the expression of the thought of "pursuing Hua" in Korea. The phenomenon of "harmony with China" not only provided an important guide for Ni Qian to complete the mission, but also increased Korea’s sense of belonging to the Ming Dynasty.Ni Qian’s unique diplomatic approach left a deep impression on Korea, and the trip had an important impact on the Relations between The Ming Dynasty, maintaining the dignity of the Ming Dynasty as a great power and promoting the cultural development of Korea. At the same time,it opened a new situation of "poetry diplomacy" between China and North Korea, provided a fresh diplomatic example for the following literati envoys, and made outstanding contributions to the cultural exchanges between China and North Korea. The Ming Dynasty sent numerous literati envoys to Korea, but The background of Ni Qian’s mission is unique.According to Ni Qian’s Chronicle of Korea, the etiquette ni Qian received on the way was incomplete, which had an important relationship with the capture of Ming Yingzong.Korea always regards China as its honor and actively learns from China in order to get rid of the barbarians and enter China.During the War of Tumbao, the Ming Dynasty was defeated and the emperor was captured, but the situation was that China was defeated by barbors. Therefore,Korea was negligent in the etiquette of receiving angels and welcoming decrees, silently expressing its dissatisfaction with the Ming Dynasty. But before Ni Qian on the way and found north Korea’s costume system, music people clothing and so on "with China",the Ming Dynasty is respectful, there are everywhere "mu Hua" performance, the implementation of the consistent "big" policy. It can be seen that the Joseon Dynasty had a very contradictory mentality during the succession of Emperor Gyeongtae.Ni Qian is the insight into north Korea’s ambivalence, the right medicine, successfully completed the mission. The academic research on Ni Qian in the past mainly focuses on the discussion of Ni Qian himself, which leaves room for the study of sino-Korean relations from the perspective of Ni Qian.In addition, most of the studies on Sino-Korean relations focus on the long period of time or groups of figures, but through the systematic analysis of The political and cultural diplomatic activities of Ni Qian’s mission to Korea,we can also take Ni Qian’s perspective as a starting point to conduct a more detailed study of sino-Korean relations during the period of Jingtai Emperor. However, the taidi dynasty alone could not represent the sino-Korean relationship of the whole Ming Dynasty, and the other dynasties and ministers need to be explored.
