From Paper And Silk To Porcelain—Research On The Technique And Forms Of Painting Cat On Porcelain

Cat is a common subject in ancient Chinese painting.Especially since Song Dynasty,painters of previous dynasties have painted more and more of them are paper and silk.The theme of cat in porcelain quality is mainly presented in the form of matching scenes.Due to the influence of material,the performance techniques and styles of the cat painting works tend to solidify.With the development of ceramic materials and technology,the expression of porcelain painting has the possibility of further expansion.Therefore,how to transform the aesthetic type and expression form of paper and silk into the expressive power of porcelain painting has become the opportunity for this paper to think and study.This paper will be developed from the following aspects:1.the author focuses on the reasons of the concept of love and painting cats of the ancients,aiming at further motivation research on the phenomenon of painting cats from the perspective of the creator.2.through the works of ancient cats painting,the paper combs the types and characteristics of their works,and summarizes their expressive techniques and styles.3.analyze the difference between paper and silk and porcelain,try to learn from the technique between them.4.explore the expression form and style of the cat painting by using modern ceramic technology,and try to produce the cat works with both traditional techniques and modern aesthetic customs.
