Bach,a representative composer in Baroque era,has pushed the development of polyphony to the pinnacle.This Italian concerto with distinctive features is the achievement of combination of concerto and polyphony by Bach,which is as well as write for the double keyboard ancient piano with features both in type and content.This thesis will compare and analysis of the audio version work playing by Glen Gould and Andreas Schiff,analysing both the similarities and differences from performance features in Baroque and piano playing techniques,combining both the audio spectrum with maps to analyse.Combined with my own performing experiences,trying to provide some references to better interpret the Italian concerto.
