| The image of flowers is often given the meaning of romance,beauty and happiness.Still life painting artworks that are depicted as objects are often associated with themes such as life and death.However,in the art scene dominated by conceptual art,still life painting is not very attractive to contemporary artists because there is not much room for the development of new illustrations and new technologies.This series of creations takes flowers as the reference,imagery in painting art as the research object,and still life painting as the practice method,in order to explore a new way of spiritual expression in the creation of contemporary oil painting still life art.In the process of creation and research,I referred to and learned from Van Gogh,Yan Ping,Guan Puxue and other artists’ unique observation methods,painting techniques and expressions in flower creation.Aesthetics,botanical aesthetics and personal aesthetic experience,express the overall atmosphere of the picture with the language of imagery,and finally use the series of finished products as the research result to express the author’s own feelings and artistic pursuit. |
