The Arrangement And Study Of Wang Dashu’s Poems In The Western Regions

Among the many poets in the Western regions of the Qing Dynasty,Wang Dashu is one worthy of attention.He stayed in Yili as an official in the 53 th year of Qianlong（1788）and returned home in the fourth year of Jiaqing（1799）.He wrote 8 volumes of Xi Zheng Lu and retained all his poetry and literary works during his exile in the Western Regions.This paper takes the arrangement and research of Wang Dashu’s poems in the Western regions as the object.Firstly,it collects,revises and arranges the poems in volume 1 and 2 of Xi Zheng Lu,volume 5 and 6 of the Preservation of Grass,and volume 8 of the East Swirling Grass.Secondly,the overall study of Wang Dashu’s poetry in the Western regions.The poetry of the Western regions in The Record of the Western Expedition is the crystallization of Wang Dashu’s experience and thought of his repatriation to Xinjiang.Through the arrangement and study of his poetry of the western Regions,it is of great historical and literary value to understand the natural scenery,social customs and natural resources of Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty.In addition,sorting out and exploring Wang Dashu’s poems in the western regions is of great significance to reflect the prosperity of Literary creation in Yili and deepen the study of western regions literature in the Qing Dynasty.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the research purpose and significance of the paper,combs the research status of Wang Dashu and his works,and defines the scope of Wang Dashu’s poetry in the Western regions.The second part reviews Wang Dashu’s exile life,his contacts in Xinjiang and his writings through combing the relevant literature and history materials.The third part is the study of Wang Dashu’s poetry in the Western Regions.According to the different themes,the poems are divided into scene lyric poems,nostalgic epics,social songs and poems,instant feelings poems and songs of praise and virtue poems.The fourth part is the appreciation of the artistic characteristics of Wang Dashu’s poetry in the Western Regions.The poetic style is broad and free,not only making good use of allusions,but also often blending inner feelings into unique images,rendering atmosphere,creating artistic conception,with the characteristics of elegance and implication.The last is the conclusion.Another appendix is Wang Dashu’s collection of Poems in the Western Regions.
