A Study On Xunzi’s Tought Of Qun

Qun(群)is an important theoretical category in the philosophy of pre-Qin Dynasty,which involves related fields such as society,politics and management.Therefore,the study of Qun as the entry point not only contributes to the overall view and understanding of the characteristics of Xunzi’s thought,but also provides new perspectives and ideas for the difficult problems of social governance in China.Logically speaking,Xunzi’s thought of un can be divided into three parts: "what is Qun","why people live in the Qun" and "how to live together in the Qun",which also becomes the inner context of this dissertation.First of all,considering from the approach of "what is Qun" is what trace the source of the ideological history of Qun based on the study of the etymology of Qun.Only by constructing an overview of the thought in Xunzi can it be more clear that Qun is a way of existence for all things.Secondly,with regard to "why people live in the Qun ",there are two reasons.The first is that humans can better maintain harmony with all things in the way that humans choose to live in groups;the second is the characteristics of being able to group.What distinguishes humans from other species lies in the ability to subjectively choose social life in gregariousness.At the same time,the manager also possesses the characteristics.At last,solve the problem of "how to live together in the Qun".In order to ensure the harmony of groups,Xunzi put forward the two concepts of "the explicit division" and "the moral division".At the same time,the harmony of groups is to make everything suitable as an internal requirement.Therefore,Xunzi proposed the study of human to make it possible,and adopted etiquette and law to regulate and implement the ideal society.
