Zhang Ruxin’s Propaganda And Research On Marxist Philosophy

Focusing on Zhang Ruxin’s life and works,this paper discusses Zhang Ruxin’s propaganda and research on Marxist philosophy.Zhang Ruxin’s propaganda and research on Marxist philosophy can be divided into three stages,in which Zhang Ruxin’s philosophical thoughts are slightly different.The first stage is the propaganda of Marxist philosophy.This research is mainly based on Zhang Ruxin’s three works--Introduction to Dialectics Theory,Dialectics and Materialism,and Introduction to Philosophy,in order to analyze Zhang Ruxin’s contribution to the publicity and research of materialist dialectics,dialectical materialism,and historical materialism.The second stage is the dissemination and study of Soviet Russian philosophy.Based on Zhang Ruxin’s comprehensive understanding of Soviet Russian philosophy,and starting with Zhang Ruxin’s research on Soviet Russian political figures,Soviet school and scholars,this paper briefly describes Zhang Ruxin’s contribution to the propaganda and research of Soviet Russian philosophy.The third stage is the dissemination and study of Mao Zedong Thought.Based on Zhang Ruxin’s research on Mao Zedong’s thought,especially Mao Zedong’s original work,this paper discusses the background and specific content of Zhang Ruxin’s initiative to put forward "Comrade Mao Zedong’s thought",and explores the realistic basis for Zhang Ruxin to put forward "Comrade Mao Zedong’s thought".It also compares the concept of Mao Zedong’s thought put forward by Zhang Ruxin with that of Deng Tuo,Liu Shaoqi and Wang Jiaxiang,so as to expatiate the special significance of "Mao Zedong’s thought" proposed by Zhang Ruxin.We should objectively look at Zhang Ruxin’s contribution to the propaganda of Marxist philosophy,and at the same time,we should also see that Zhang Ruxin’s own philosophical thought has certain limitations.On the one hand,these limitations come from the influence of The Times,and on the other hand,his personal thought system is relatively scattered.
