Embodiment And Performance Interpretation Of The Elements Of Spanish National Music In Sarasate Carmen Fantasy

Sarasate was a famous Spanish musician in the last half of the 19 th century.He was known as "Paganini at the end of the Century" for his excellent violin playing skills.His creation "Carmen Fantasy" is a well-known classical violin music not too much to listen to,its exquisite skills,beautiful melody makes it widely spread and become one of Sarasate’s representative works.In this paper,this work is analyzed and researched from respects of theme raw material of Spanish folk song,special national mode style,folk dance rhythm type,imitation of national musical instrument and the performing bow method,finger skill and decorative sound technique,etc.and the reflection and performing techniques of Spanish folk music elements in this music is explained and a reference for players is provided.
