As China steps into a mass consumption society,the elements of political,cultural,economic are changing continuously,and influencing each other simultaneously.New cultural have changed the way of propaganda and education of ideology and expanded the connotation of ideology.In this context,the theme film,as one of the manifestations of the ideological state machine,has changes in aesthetic representation: First,the personal narration replaces the grand narration,and adds ethical narration to make the expression of theme film warmer;Second,pay more attention to the personalization and three-dimensional character shaping,and explore the diversified characters;Third,it presents more and more diverse visual and auditory effects.The use of violence aesthetics and digital special effects further enrich the entertainment and aesthetic functions of theme films.At the same time,film soundtrack also shows a trend of popularity.Taking the 2019 tribute film Me and My Country as the entry point,this paper explores the aesthetic characteristics of theme films in recent years,and analyzes the relationship among theme film aesthetics,ideology,and mass culture,so as to realize the research from micro to macro.This paper has four parts.The introduction part mainly explains the consequence of the topic,research status and thoughts of this paper.The text unfolds with the logic of what,why and how to do.Starting with the specific aesthetic phenomenon,in-depth film texts,from the character,narrative,audio-visual analysis of the theme of the film in recent years,the aesthetic performance of the law in the common.From the outside to the inside,this paper explores the internal and external causes of the aesthetic changes of the theme film from the aesthetic phenomena and expounds the ideology and mass culture operation logic behind the theme film aesthetics in recent years.Finally,from the content and form of the film to explain the paradoxes of the films and try to put forward the idea to solve the paradoxes.
